UC BERKELEY SUMMER SESSİON 2015 DENEYİMLERİM

AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE I WILL CARRY WITH ME FOREVER ☺

The very first step taken forward for my experience abroad in California has come to pass in a meeting with Academix at the study abroad fair. I am a second-year law student at Ozyegin University. I was of two minds whether to enroll in courses for summer session to get credits or go with a certificate program and it remained unsettled until the assistance of what Academix offered with all possible options that perfectly match with my priorities. In a blink of an eye I have found myself at UC Berkeley as an international student for the summer session 2015. I have had my best abroad experience so far and met incredibly great people from all over the world. Within the time allowed I traveled along the west coast and visited some attractions in SF. Berkeley is a small city full of university students but be prepared to see considerable majority of Asian students. Additionally courses are pretty easy when compared to the Turkish standards but homework load depends on which class you attend. I did stay at I-House on one of my German contacts’ recommendation. I could say that I-House is one of the best accommodation places in Berkeley during the summer session period. They have weekly meal plans. By getting a better understanding of American law and living summer to the fullest I believe I made a truly good choice on what I did.
